U.S. Marines trained Gabonese Armed Forces during a training exercise at Camp Mokekou, Gabon, Nov. 10 – Dec. 9, 2016. The U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response – Africa partnered with Gabonese Armed Forces soldiers as well as Gabonese Agency for National Parks during the exercise focused on patrolling techniques, mission planning and combat marksmanship.
