Iran unveils indigenously made Roham VTOL UAV

Iran’s Defense Ministry on Saturday unveiled a homegrown Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities used for aerial photography. The Iranian drone, dubbed Roham, was unveiled along with six other defense-related products at a ceremony held on the occasion of the Government’s Week. Roham has been developed for taking aerial photographs over difficult terrains, where landing and take-off is impossible for other types of aircraft.
