Canada acquires five RQ-21A Blackjack unmanned aerial systems

The Government of Canada announced on August 26 that it is buying 5 RQ-21A Blackjack unmanned aerial surveillance systems, through a government-to-government contractual arrangement (U.S. Foreign Military Sales program) with the U.S. Government. The contract, which is valued at US$14.2 million, includes initial training. 
Insitu's RQ-21A Blackjack is already in service with US Navy and Royal Netherlands Army
