EASA orders Airbus H225 Super Puma checks after fatal crash

The European Aviation Safety Agency has issued an Emergency Airworthiness Directive (EAD) to all the operators of the Airbus Helicopters EC225 LP Super Puma platforms in order to go through checks, as a result of the 29 April fatal crash that killed 13 people off the coast of Norway. The helicopter was carrying personnel from an offshore oil and gas platform to the city of Bergen.
