British Ministry Of Defence to spend £40 million for a new Cyber Security Operations Centre.

British MOD (Ministry Of Defence) would like to strengthen the UK’s cyber defences, the British Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has announced that over £40 million will be spent on a new Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC). The preferred location for the centre will be at MOD Corsham.
Soldiers from the Virginia National Guard’s Fairfax-based Data Processing Unit conduct a network vulnerability assessment with members of the United Kingdom’s Territorial Army at Andover, Hampshire, UK at Land Forces Headquarters.
