Northrop Grumman to install countermeasures system on India head of state aircraft

Northrop Grumman has been awarded an $11,734,223 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures on India head of state aircraft. Work will be performed in India and is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2020. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to India. 
India head of state currently uses a Boeing 747-400 aircraft from Air India for its official travels
